Was incredibly beautiful and it was nice to get some much needed exercise. On the last 5 minutes my legs gave up below my knees....they literally just stopped working...
But fortunately there was a van to take us back to the comforts of the town.
The city of Sapa is also very nice
A beautiful lake in the center of town
A small but bustling city...and of course full of restaurants
Time to start the arduous trek
The local minorities followed you for hours to sell their wares
I wish I didn't have to stop to take the pictures....but they will be appreciated 20 years from now
The trek had to pause 20 minutes while this super violent "kids" movie finished up
It is hard work in the fields but they only have one harvest a year so there is lots of leisure time in Sapa
Back onto the night train....back to lovely Hanoi
My giant hotel room
Can't resist Vietnam.....
