Saigon Districts

Hired a motorcycle to take me around to all the different Saigon districts or neighborhoods.  The main tourist area is District 1 - where you find the business and luxury tourist travelers and also the backpackers and budget tourists.

It is a big city and I have a 6 hour tour to see a little bit of every major district and some of the outlying areas.

The way to get around is Motorcycle.  I rent them myself but it is also nice to sit on the back so you can just observe the city

  Nothing beats a fresh fruit juice

The different outfits are interesting.  The girls really like to cover up

Office buildings and malls have giant motorcycle parking lots

Bikes often three or four or even more people

The newer outlying districts are like any place...large boulevards and high-rise apartments complete with the same boring chain stores and restaurants

Lots of highrise construction going on in Saigon

No one knows what a homeless Vancouver person looks like here

Still room for development
